Tokyo Great Cycling Tour

This is the second route we created in 2009. The route show you northern east of central Tokyo and we want to show you the most popular tourist attraction, Sensoji temple in Asakusa.

This is the route we created as our first route when we started our bike tour in 2006.
The route show you the contrast between new and old Tokyo and it includes “must see” attractions in Tokyo, too.
・Cycling along beautiful Sumida river and stop at one of the oldest area in Tokyo, Tsukuda Island
・World famous Tsukji Fish Market. The whole sale market is now located in Toyosu, but Tsukiji area is still foodie’s paradise!
・About 20 minutes ferry ride between Odaiba and Hinode, passing under Rainbow bridge. Beautiful Tokyo Bay’s view
・An old Buddhist temple, Zojoji in front of Tokyo Tower

This is the third route we made in 2011 after the Great East Japan Earthquake. We would like to cover west part of central Tokyo.The main attraction is the biggest Shinto shrine in Tokyo, Meiji Shrine.
・Form the area developed in Edo period to the area still changing especially for 2020 Olympic
・Highend shopping districts such as Ginza, Roppoingi and Omotesando
・Lots of unique beautiful architectures
・Picnic at Yoyogi park (if the weather permits)
・Meiji Jingu Shrine, the biggest Shinto Shrine in Tokyo

The first half day tour route we made for family with small children or people who visit Tokyo only for short time. This route goes to less busy area at the east of Sumida river.
・Kiyosumi Garden, a traditional Japanese style garden with pond at the center of the garden, where you will see many birds, Koi carp and turtles
・Fukagawa Edo Museum, a history museum we can see how local people lived in the middle of 1800’s in Edo
・Tomioka Hachimangu Shrine where Sumo was used to be held

In 2015, we made this route especially for our repeat guests. Visit less touristy places and designe the route with some steep but short hills as an accent. Also lots of charming backstreets.

The end of 2017, we created this route for those who have joined our tour a few times already! The tour visit northern west part of central Tokyo.
