Takaro Trails Cycle Tours
A fresh new way to see the Bay
When Jenny Ryan decided to put her extensive travel and tourism experience to good use it wasnt difficult for her to decide on the focus of her new business.
With a passion for the outdoors and increasing popularity of cycling as a fun and healthy holiday option, Jenny established Tākaro Trails to provide quality outdoor holidays in sunny Hawkes Bay. You can decide on the length and difficulty of your ride, plus each day of your chosen itinerary you can vary the amount of time spent visiting the regions many attractions.
Why cycle Hawkes Bay? Because the region now boasts over 180km of scenic, off road cycle trails forming part of Nga Haerenga, the New Zealand Cycle Trail. Their 3 great rides which are the water ride, the landscapes ride and the wineries ride make up the Hawkes Bay Trails and each route is unique in its own way. Graded easy these rides are suitable for cyclists of all abilities and confirm Hawkes Bay as the ultimate cycle holiday destination.
