After having left Alghero, this beautiful, aragonese little town on the coral coast, the spectacular itinerary starts along the steep coast. Following ups and downs we reach the medieval town Bosa, the only one with a navigable river. Bosa is well known for its excellent wine, the embroideries, the filigrane jewellery and the remains of the ancient tanneries.

The next stage is a little bit longer, but not too difficult. We will find the more demanding slopes on the first 20 km of the itinerary. The remaining is mostly flat. From the mediaeval Bosa we will reach a pearl on the West coast, the past fisher village San Salvatore (Santu Srabadoi in local dialect), a typical example of a temporary, religious centre in Sardinia.

Then a stage with a medium distance, but easy, as more than 50km are flat. At the beginning we bike along the craggy coast and the glance goes until the sea with its numerous lagoons situated in this area.

The route rises slowly, while we approach the village of Guspini. Then the slopes become more demanding and we proceed into the past mine area. We cross also Arbus and following a marvellous mountain route, we descent again towards the sea close to Nebida We suggest you to save your energy during the first part of this stage for the central part, made of steep slopes.

Today we bike along the sea, but from time to time we go into the inland. The total altitude of this stage is medium-low and will be almost reached after a short route of 12 km. Then the road starts with a partly very high slope, until 15%. For that, this track will present us during the descent a unique and unforgettable coast view on the white cliffs and the rock of the Pan di Zucchero.

The sequence of ups and downs identifies these 75 km. The peculiarity of this stage is the coast part we travel along, particularly from the port of Teulada until Chia. This road is known to be one of the most beautiful in the world and was used by film directors for the scenes and photographers of well known magazines. A part where we can dip into the different blue nuances of the sea, the uncountable bays and the Aragonese towers.

Day 1: arrival in Cagliari, transfer to Muravera (price not included in the package price), check-in.
Day 2: (78 Km 1550 mt Muravera - Orroli) We will cycle crossing the small villages of Ballao and Escalaplano, until we reach the charming village of Orroli. Before entering the village, it is worth to visit the nuragic complex “Arrubiu”, testimony of Sardinian’s past civilisation and built probably around 4.000 years ago. The private manor house where we will have dinner and overnight, hosts also a family museum that shows us ancient tools and clothes from the past agricultural life in this territory.
Day 3: (61 Km 990 mt Orroli - Sardara) We leave Orroli and cycle direction Sardara, passing Nurri, Gerrei, Barumini and Collinas. At Barumini we will meet the famous archaeological site “Su Nuraxi”, world heritage, while inside the close village of Tuili we will for sure stop to visit the Parrish church S.Pietro with its famous paintings. Dinner and overnight in Sardara.
Day 4: (46 Km Sardara – Arbus) Today we cycle direction Costa Verde, one of the most impressive areas on Sardinia. We suggest to reach the marvellous beach of Torre dei Corsari with its lovely sand dunes, one of the characteristics of this coast part. (20 km to cycle there and back to the hotel). Dinner and overnight in Arbus.
Day 5: (45,5 Km Arbus - Guspini) During the first part of the stage we cycle again direction Torre dei Corsari till we reach the marvellous Costa Verde. These impressive landscapes, rich in abandoned mines and pretty beaches will leave an unforgettable memory. We will continue then direction Guspini, where we will have dinner and overnight.
Day 6: (77,5 Km Guspini – Carbonia) Today we will cycle through little and interesting villages inside the region Sulcis-Iglesiente, as for example Iglesias, name that means town with many churches, where it is worth to stop for a visit of the historical centre. Our today's destination is Carbonia, that during the 20th century was well known for the mines and today this town is really vivid and interesting. Dinner and overnight in Carbonia.
Day 7: (78 Km Carbonia - Pula) We leave Carbonia and cycle direction Pula on the west coast. As soon as we reach the village of Teulada, we direct to the harbour and follow the panoramic coast road along the well known South West Coast. The marvellous beaches of Capo Malfatano, Tuerredda, Capo Spartivento and Chia show us also the remains of Spanish towers, that make the already wonderful landscape more precious. We arrive at Pula and have the opportunity to visit the archaeological site of Nora, an ancient Phoenician foundation, where we can visit both Punic and Roman remains facing directly the sea. Dinner and overnight in Santa Margherita di Pula.
Day 8: Transfer to the airport (price not included in the package price) and end of services.
