This unforgettable multi-day cycling tour includes many of our favorite rides along the scenic Central Coast of California, including the 17-mile drive around the Monterey Peninsula, the iconic Big Sur Coastline and the Santa Barbara Wine Country.  Your all-inclusive bike tour includes wonderful accommodations, five days of guided cycling, hosted dinners, farm-to-table vineyard lunches & wine tasting, bike rentals, vehicle support and luggage transfers.

Explore the wine country of the Santa Ynez Valley, pedal alongside oak-studded vineyards on rolling back roads, take in the sights of gorgeous horse country set inside expansive ranch land… and relax on the shores of the Mediterranean-like coast of Santa Barbara.

This journey through the Santa Barbara wine country will treat you to spectacular days of cycling, gourmet lunches, fine dining, deluxe accommodations, and handcrafted local wines.

Intermediate; 25-40 miles /day.

This spectacular vacation scenic cycling vacation includes deluxe accommodations, farm-to-table vineyard lunches & fine dining highlighting Rhone & Bordeaux varietals and breath-taking scenery in the Santa Ynez, Morro Bay & Santa Barbara locales.

Starting in the Santa Rita hills, famous for Pinot Noir, you will ride through beautiful countryside accented with vineyards and rustic farms.  Next you’ll experience breathtaking views as you roll through Happy Canyon and Cabernet /Syrah country.  You’ll travel the same roads professional teams train on year after year – a true testament to the quality of cycling in California’s central coast.  Then it’s off to Paso Robles where you will pedal among the Bordeaux and Rhone varietals in Peachy Canyon.  Each day’s ride includes gourmet lunches and wine tasting and the area’s premier wineries.  Most evenings include dinners at the finest wine country restaurants.

Traveling along this route the Santa Ynez River west towards the ocean, this route includes two short, moderate climbs and the area’s most notable rolling hills. Our signature farm-to-table lunch will be served overlooking a seasonal river and vineyard at LaFond winery. Shuttle service available after lunch

You will pedal through the corridor of the Happy Canyon wine AVA with panoramic views of the San Rafael Mountains and the Santa Ynez Valley. Enjoy expansive views of vineyard land and rolling hills, including Olive Oil farms and cattle ranches. Happy Canyon features many famous thoroughbred breeding properties, including Om Arab and the final home for legendary race horse, Secretariat.  For those who wish to challenge their fitness, your guide can lead you a few turns up Figueroa Mountain, a world famous training climb for professional cyclists.  Enjoy our signature farm-to-table lunch served alfresco at Beckmen Vineyards with wine tasting to follow. A short cool down pedal awaits you after lunch returning you to our store.

This ride takes you through the heart of the Santa Ynez Valley wine country, past a miniature horse pasture, apple orchards, an old school house and includes olive oil tasting in Los Olivos. Our signature lunch is served at Rusack Vineyard before pedaling through the beautiful Ballard Canyon past vineyards en route back to Solvang.
