Our expertly crafted 22-day guided tour offers a more relaxed pace, with three additional days built in for arrival, departure, and rest - making it the ideal choice for cyclists who want to savour the journey, not just tick it off.
This fully supported road cycling holiday takes you from the southernmost tip of England to the far north of Scotland over 19 days of riding, covering more than 1,000 miles through England, Wales, and Scotland. From Cornwall’s rugged coastlines and the dramatic hills of Dartmoor, to the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, Edinburgh’s historic streets, and the wild Highland landscapes beyond Inverness - this is a cycling experience that showcases the very best of Britain.
Each day, your luggage is transported for you, GPS navigation units provided with easy to follow route navigation, plus a knowledgeable guide to keep you on track and help you discover the best places along the way, ensuring regular meet-ups and support while giving you the flexibility to ride at your own pace.
Unlike faster tours that compress the schedule, this 22-day version includes a rest day and extra time to settle in and wind down, creating a more manageable and enjoyable experience for enthusiastic, regular cyclists. Daily distances typically range from 50 to 75 miles (80–120 km), making it a great fit for riders who enjoy a consistent challenge without the pressure of maintaining a fast pace.
We’ve been running Land’s End to John O’Groats tours since 2006, and our carefully refined route that ensures the best roads and most interesting places reflects our years of experience. This isn’t just a ride—it’s an unforgettable journey through Britain’s most iconic cycling landscapes.
Holiday Highlights
- Ride the length of Britain from toe to tip and declare yourself an ‘End to Ender’
- Experience the regional changes in tradition, culture and accents as you progress from county to county
- Enjoy spectacular scenery from Cheddar Gorge to the Cairngorms
- 3 countries in 19 days of riding
- 1,000 miles of Britain at its best
- Cornish pasties to haggis and everything in between
We have picked quiet country roads wherever possible. The whole route is on good tarmac, and suited to lightweight road bikes. There are of course lots of climbs, and descents, with some sections through urban areas, but the majority of the route takes us through open countryside.
Some of this will be lowland, agricultural areas, and some will be over high and exposed hill country – especially in the North of England and Scotland.
