Peru Cycling
We named our company Peru Cycling after extensive bicycle touring experiences in Peru as an Adventure Cycling Club -Cicloturismo Peru and realized that you can’t get any closer to the Andean lands you are visiting or cover as much terrain through any other active approach to travel.
Inspired on a key principle: Sustainability focused on environment, nature and cultural heritage protection policies, tune with the trails, scenery and towns visited, cultural immersion and love for adventure cycling since 2005 we offer biking trips programs that we feel provide a very authentic and engaging field experience, since our programs are committed with social and economic development of the local communities involved on the routes and by encouraging and supporting the ones already offering Community Based Tourism Services.
Some of the best roads we have discovered on our adventures include the highlights of tourism in Peru such as Machu Picchu, Lake Titikaka, Paracas, Nazca Lines, etc.

Qhapaq ñan is the greatest archaeological monument in the Americas.
Qhapaq Ñan is the trail network connecting the whole territory of the Inka empire, which is also called Tawantinsuyu, traverses the Andes from northern Argentina up to southern Colombia.
In Perú, the heart of the Inka empire, are the longest and main sections of the Qhapaq Ñan that run across following regions in the Peruvian highlands, from south to north: Puno, Cusco, Apurimac, Ayacucho, Huancavelica, Junín Pasco, Huanuco, Ancash, La Libertad, Cajamarca and Piura, and transversal side trails connecting the high sierra with the coastal lowlands.
This route is new, never explored for cycle touring. We have done a long term and extensive research and gathering of info and data and tracked the trail on the maps and satellite images, at present we are in condition and ready to go to explore this breathtaking ancient trail network.
Qhapac Ñan can be travelled in sections of variable length to suit the expeditioners’ available time through regions of superb scenic beauty and great interest
A route for the truly adventurous willing to live an authentic exploration experience.
Implies accepting some uncertainty and readiness to overcome the unexpected.
Yet the risk is low, we will never do anything dangerous or beyond what is reasonably safe and possible.
The cycling trip along Qhapaq Ñan is unique in the world and we are the first offering this discovery level cycle touring experience.
