Pedal Bike Tours

Tour Portland like a true Portlandian: through the history, culture and brand-new retail industry of pot. Did you know one of the Willamette Valley's first commercial crops was hemp? Our city's fortunes have been tied to the cannabis plant since Oregon Country included all of present-day Oregon, Washington, Idaho and British Columbia. Oregon was the first state to decriminalize marijuana possession, and now you can explore some of the finest pot available - by bike.

The essential introduction to Portland. We'll hop on well-traveled bike lanes stopping to admire the views of downtown, the river and the city's many bridges. Then we ride along the waterfront past the brick and cast iron fronted buildings of Old Town built in the 19th and early 20th century.

To begin this combination bike and hike excursion (bike and helmet are included in the tour price) we'll jump into the Pedal Bike Tours van and drive 45 minutes to the Historic Columbia River Highway, completed in 1915. On the way we'll stop at the most photographed scenic vistas in the Gorge before unloading the bikes for our ride.

This tour takes our guests to some favorite local haunts for a taste of Portland's delectable food carts - all food and drinks included. We'll eat and ride in a few of Portland's most scenic neighborhoods including the Portland Waterfront, Sunnyside, and the Hawthorne District.

Take a spin through the beautiful Oregon countryside and discover some of the world's best Pinot Noirs. This tour is a ten mile ride through Yamhill County's scenic viticultural region past rolling hills, farmland and hazelnut groves. Along the way we'll stop at select wineries for tasting and relaxing.

Pedal at your own pace on this self-guided, two day ride, perfect for adventurers of all ages. This 51 mile ride takes you along sweeping vistas, pounding waterfalls, hand-hewn tunnels and the hushed green forest of the Historic Columbia River Highway.
