The Eagles Route
This is a great Intro ride to Off Road (Jeep Track) mountain biking. The descent through Doi Suthep National Park presents us with great views of the Mae Ping Valley below, amazing forest landscapes which makes this Trip one of the most scenic and popular Mountain Bike Rides in Chiang Mai and all without traffic.
National forest and plantation access jeep tracks with ruts, rock gardens, mud and sand traps, besides a few steep down hills sections, great for beginners and Nature lovers.
99% downhill, rarely used dirt road and single track.
The Highlander's Route
Doi Suthep Park at its finest, starting at the summit, off road changes to single track leading us deep into a highland jungle gorge, a physical challenging climb out and a lengthy downhill rewards us with great views.
National forest and plantation access dirt road with ruts, rock gardens, mud and sand traps, some steep down hills, turning into advanced single track completely unused by vehicular traffic followed by a long steep uphill, great if you are in top shape. Very rewarding trip if you are an experienced mountain biker.

The Old Smugglers Route
Traversing and climbing along the remote mountain tops of the National Park, we enjoy these scenic rides with a challenging downhill section into the Mae Ping and Samoeng Valleys. The Trip #3 XC Series allows us to place you on to the parks summit and cater to your riding desires that day.

Fully guided climb up to Doi Pui National Park summit. From here after a long deserved lunch break at the Hmong village (1400m elev.) we descend by bike down to lake Huay Tung Thao.
Riding Conditions: 50% uphill trekking, 50% downhill off road riding

A lengthy uphill ride along the lush northeast side of Suthep National Park brings us to the Hmong village to spend the night and ride down the following day to Lake Huay Tung Thao.

The Samoeng Loop
The fit Cyclist will long remember this 90km (45km of that uphill) challenging loop starting in Chiang Mai Around Doi Suthep National Park with its idyllic countryside and interesting cultural aspects. Riders need plenty of endurance to brave the long and steep uphills encountered on this ride . the rides ends back in Chiang mai. For those that feel it's a bit to hard , shorter versions with later starting points and earlier retrieval for this beautiful ride are on hand. Vehicle support can be arranged.
