Eye rewarding scenery

Packed with wild flowers among natural carpet of greens, wild berries in the Taiga edge of the Siberia and Khangai mountain range. Beautiful valleys of the longest Orkhon and largest Selenge rivers, both flows into the lake Baikal as its main water supply. Bread basket regions in Mongolia, few of challenging mountain passes, not many up and downhill’s but generally plain surface of earth road, along birch, pine trees, cross a number of streams and farming villages among the trees. At all times biking is done on distinct car tracks with smooth packed surface interrupted by a couple of short rocky sections. Also Amarbayasgalant monastery, Mongolia / Russia border point is highlights of this trip.
