Mike's Bike Tours Munich

On this tour we also visit the Königsplatz, the Olympic Park, the Nymphenburg Palace, the BMW World and also see more of the vast English Garden than the 1/3 that we ride through (from North to South) on our Classic and Superior bike tours. Though our other Munich sightseeing tours certainly have their own virtues and value, this tour is simply unbeatable. Groups size is also much smaller than what we usually have on our Classic, normally with only 4 to 12 participants.

This tour also starts from our meeting point at the END of Marienplatz and the street called Tal, where we first tell our guests about the history of Munich and the buildings closest to that part of the Old Town.

This "introduction" lasts about 15 minutes, after which we walk up the street to our location where we have our bikes and get everyone set up and ready to roll.About 2.5 hours after we get started at Marienplatz we stop the tour for a break in the largest beer garden IN THE WORLD, where we eat, drink and socialise together for about a hour before we proceed towards the Olympic park. We usually make take a second break for about a half hour at Munich's most popular beer garden towards the end of the tour.

This tour is a "superior" version of our (usually four-hour) Munich sightseeing tour which we most often cannot offer on our Classic Tour due to this usual four hour time constraint. On this tour we also visit the Königsplatz as well as take a slightly different route on several occasions, making this tour about an hour longer than our Classic Tour is.

Though it is our Classic four-hour Munich Sightseeing Tours that we have become so renowned for, we believe that this "superior" version of the classic Mike's Bike Tour better represents the best job we can do and thereby yet better value.These Munich sightseeing tours also start at our meeting point at the EAST END of Marienplatz and the (end of the) street called Tal. Here we tell our guests about the founding of Munich and the buildings there at the heart of the Old Town. This introduction lasts about 15 minutes, after which we walk a few hundred meters up the street to our location where we have our bikes and get everyone set up and ready to roll.About 2 hours after we get started at Marienplatz we stop the sightseeing tour for a break in Munich's most popular beer garden where we eat, drink and socialise together for about an hour before we proceed with the rest of the tour.

It covers the majority of Munich's sightseeing highlights, including about a third of the English Garden and a nice stretch along the Isar River where we see one of Munich's most popular beaches as well as the beautiful Peace Angel monument, the Maximilianeum (the Bavarian Parliament building), the Volksbad, the Lukas Kirche and the Deutsches Museum.
