We'll begin with a brief introduction, show you how our bikes function and inform you how to safely ride a bike in Amsterdam.
The bike tour starts with biking a little through the city, where we give you a run down on skinny bridges, crooked building and bike filled canals and then we continue biking out to the beautiful countryside.Mike's bike tours countryside bike tour
The majority of this guided bicycle tour is spent riding along the Amstel River beyond the edge of town where we'll pass by funky houseboats, rowing clubs and people fishing. Then we'll show you one of the few remaining authentic windmills; the Riekermolen. We'll make a nice photo stop at the windmill and you can also check out the remembrance statue of Rembrandt. We bike a little further along the Amstel River and stop at the Rembrandthoeve farm, where we visit an eccentric and entertaining Dutch farmer at his cheese farm/clog factory. At the farm they will demonstrate the traditional art of making wooden shoes and famous Gouda cheese. Afterwards you'll be able to have a look around in their little gift shop, taste some free samples of authentic Dutch cheese, try on wooden shoes and go cow tipping (if you can catch them) or eat your packed lunch (if you've brought any). We then leave the Amstel River behind and continue the bike tour riding through the polder landscape with it's rectilinear ditches and dikes. On our way back towards the city we bike through the Amsterdamse Bos and then into the Vondel park before finishing back at our tour garage.

Join our eclectic, entertaining and exciting guided bike tour through the amazing City of Amsterdam.
Come to our shop in the heart of the city and meet our friendly staff from all over the world. We'll set you up with bikes, and tell you how to navigate the majestic canals and boulevards of this city safely.
Over the course of approximately 3 hours, learn about our funky crooked houses and wondrous waterways, the very liberal public policies around sex and drugs, and how a single company brought this small, relatively young European city to such wealth, power and prominence.
You'll be taken through the most beautiful and interesting aspects of this city and learn about its rich, strange history as well as the weird foibles that make up Amsterdam culture. All of this mixed with the observations and opinions of your guide, all of whom are well seasoned and eager to share their hard earned knowledge. Biking is thirsty work, so we'll mostly stop towards the end for a drink at one of our favorite local drinkeries!

The 'Wow factor' of this Camp, is the climb to the highest mountain in Sardinia, Bruncu Spina, which peaks at 1650 m, an unforgettable cycling adventure.
From sea-battered medieval dyke villages to the gallows field of the Golden Age, ignored until the late 19th century when the North Sea Canal's dredgings were dumped to create more land for ship docks and laborers Amsterdam Noord has, until the recent waterfront development with the EYE Film Museum, been considered the city's backward sibling.
The 'Locks, Docks, Ferries and Dykes Tour' will take you through the development of Amsterdam as a harbor on the IJ, crossing the former sea inlet by ferry to Amsterdam Noord, past former squatted shipyards, along quaint old village dykes, across the Oranje ship locks past heralded modern architecture back into the city center.
Ogliastra means unspoiled nature, and the opportunity to ride in the middle of the National Park of Gennargentu, one of the ancient, well protected and wildest areas of Sardinia. The area offers a wonderful sea coast, and majestic mountains: you will have the opportunity enjoy both coast and mountain rides. Our programme is split into 2 x 3 day sections, one on the coast of Tortolì-Arbatax, and the other in the middle of the Gennargentu mountains, located in Villagrande.
This Training Camp excels in mountain rides, never too extreme but nevertheless averagely challenging. We recommend this training camp to those who love climbing, or who want to improve their climbing skills in the quietest area. The 'Wow factor' of this Camp, is the climb to the highest mountain in Sardinia, Bruncu Spina, which peaks at 1650 m, an unforgettable cycling adventure.
