Epic 2-week journey from Santiago to Havana
Cross Cuba on an odyssey journey from east to west, with the prevailing winds at your back. Stunning coastline bordering the Sierra Maestra serves as a backdrop before crossing the mountains to El Salton eco lodge, traversing to the north shore and the hidden gem of a coastal town Gibara, cultural capital Camaguey in central Cuba, then visiting the colonial meccas of Sancti Spiritus and Trinidad. The bayside city of Cienfuegos and its impressive architecture beckons before a paradisiacal afternoon of snorkeling in Caleta Buena in the Bay of Pigs. The final two nights in Cuba’s famous capital, Havana, round off the epic cycling and cultural experience.
