La Bicyclette Verte, a family story around bike trips
In 1986, Pierre Alain and Danielle, the founders of La Bicyclette Verte, discovered a passion for cycling. Their ambition was to discover their region of origin, the Marais Poitevin, by bike. Building on the success of this mission, they took a liking for adventure and gradually moved away from « la Venise Verte » (« Green Venice ») to discover, by bike and with their 3 children, the Atlantic Coast of Charente-Maritime, then the Gironde, the Canal du Midi, the Netherlands ... Today more than 80 circuits are available to discover 12 European countries and enjoy a great cycling holiday!
