Simply hire a bike from us and enjoy the tranquillity and scenery as you cycle from Kilkenny City via the “Sion road” to the picturesque village of Bennettsbridge.
Whilst in Bennettsbridge, you may visit some local craft producers like Moth To A Flame candle makers & Nicholas Mosse Pottery. There’s no charge to see the pottery-making process, and you can browse through the store. The bikes can be locked up and left at the Village Pump outside Tynan’s Butcher Shop and we will retrieve them. There is a café upstairs.
The Corner House Local Pub is your typical Irish bar in the centre of the village with a really nice lunch menu, where you’re sure to receive the warmest of Irish welcomes from the locals.
Be sure to allow 45 – 50 minutes to cycle back to the City from Bennettsbridge, or if you opt to take the walking option, two hours and 10 minutes for the return journey along the stunningly beautiful Nore Valley River Walk.
