Cycling in Dordogne from Montignac to Rocamadour

The tour begins in Montignac, home to the famous Lascaux caves. Then on to Les Eyzies, the capital of pre-history. You then enoy a couple of night in the medieval architectural gem that is the town of Sarlat. You are instantly immersed in the timeless beauty and rich cultural tapestry of this fabulous region, the cycling is undulating and varied along quiet country roads, through dark oak forests crossing the Vezere and Dordogne valleys. You then continue to the village of Lacave or Cales, passing through the emblematic village of Rocamadour, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
