Into the Wild
Tasmania’s bike trails are like no others.
Sure, they’re flowy. But they’re also craggy and gnarly, peaceful and pristine, and sometimes downright hairy. They wind through pristine wilderness and ancient forests to the ozone filled coast. Nirvana on a bike? It sure is.
We’ve been on two wheels in Tasmania for most of our life, and now we’re keen to share it. Our service is exclusive, for individuals and groups. Your booking secures our top-of-the-range expedition rig, beautifully appointed accommodation booked for you, and personalised trail recommendations. You won’t share with strangers, and you set your own pace.
Airport transfers, transport and food are all taken care of, trail transfers and shuttles are included. You have our complete attention. And we stay flexible. Because maybe you have a taste for wine and cheese as well as epic trail riding.
Explore our multi-day tour options to key MTB areas, our One Day Warriors, and our 6-Day ultimate Fly & Ride tour.

Believe the hype
It’s the birth place of mountain biking in Tasmania, a legend in its own time. Since opening in 2017, Derby has hosted the Enduro World Series multiple times. Its ‘hero dirt’ is the tactile terrain bikers dream of, looped around a natural bowl created by the gods of mountain biking. All trails lead to Derby – literally.
There’s something for everyone, with 120 kilometres of trail. Rusty Crusty is a rolling warm-up, or get stuck straight into boulders, berms and descents on Flickity Sticks. There’s air on Air-Ya-Garn, and panoramic views of the town on the steep and technical Trouty.
An hour to the east of Derby is the equally renowned Blue Tier, and peaceful, mesmerizing trails through the myrtle forest.

Play in the dirt
They call it the builders’ playground. A gravity-led park in the Derwent Valley, Maydena is designed and built by renowned trail company, Dirt Art. Over seventy long-distance descents and options to suit everyone. The top is 820 metres up with views over the Tasmanian wilderness. After that it’s downhill all the way – literally, on trails by the world’s top designers.
Froth levels run high at Maydena. Elite riders love the options and unbelievable scale, but there are flowy trails for intermediate and even novice riders too.
You can bomb from the top to the bottom in fifteen minutes with all the air and bends the buzz has led you to expect. For a more laid back ride, go the Wilderness Trail with streams, dappled sunlight and monster eucalyptus, and a loamy soil you’ll want to take home with you.
For breakout sessions and downtime, there’s a bike park section on the flat, with big berms and high speeds, or check out the café and bar.

Surf ‘n’ turf
Our east coast tours feature the stacked loops of St Helens and the Bay of Fires cross-country trail from mountains to sea. Nowhere else mixes the renowned Tasmanian dirt with dazzling views over an ancient coastline. This is our island showing off a little.
The eight stacked loops south of St Helens have it all. Easy Townlink is pretty much what it says on the tin. Hard-pedaling Dreaming Pools and the descent shreds from the top of Loila Tier are more demanding. These trails ride well all year round, and deliver spectacular ocean views and a bucketload of ozone. What’s not to like.
Into the mix we add the epic Bay of Fires wilderness trail. 42 km starting on the Blue Tier plateau 600 metres above sea level, winding through granite boulders and sup-alpine forest to spectacular Swimcart Beach.
Optional detours to other east coast attractions will satisfy your inner gourmet with premium wine and cheese tastings. We’re guided by you.
