Palawan and El Nido Islands Cycling

The journey begins with an arrival in Manila, where the vibrant capital of the Philippines welcomes travellers with its rich history and bustling energy. After a traditional Filipino dinner, the adventure truly kicks off with a flight to Puerto Princesa on the island of Palawan. This city, known for its vast land area and unique attractions like the Penal Farm and crocodile breeding farm, sets the stage for the cycling tour.

On Day 3, the cycling adventure starts with a 35 km ride through Puerto Princesa, leading to the serene Nagtabon Beach. Here, the day is spent enjoying grilled lunch, swimming, and a mesmerizing fire dance show under the stars. The next day, a 40 km ride takes cyclists along the west coast to Sabang, a coastal city known for its untouched beaches and vibrant atmosphere. The day concludes with a swim in the sea and exploration of the city.

Day 5 offers a unique experience with a boat ride to the Underground River, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The journey through the cave and the return via the Jungle trail provide a mix of adventure and natural beauty. The following day, a 50 km ride to Port Barton reveals the hidden gems of the island, including bridges, rice fields, and coconut groves. The adventure continues on Day 7 with a boat cruise through the South China Sea, followed by a 25 km bike ride to Taytay. This historic town, with its Fort Santa Isabel and Elephant Lake, offers a glimpse into the island's past. Day 8's 65 km ride to El Nido is a pure pleasure, with gentle slopes and friendly locals waving along the way. El Nido, known for its paradise beaches and vibrant underwater world, provides a perfect end to the day.

Day 9 is dedicated to the beautiful Nacpan Beach, with a 50 km ride through picturesque villages and a relaxing afternoon on the beach. The following day, an island-hopping tour around El Nido offers diving and snorkelling opportunities in the rich underwater world. The final cycling day involves a 25 km ride through Puerto Princesa, passing by the famous Immaculate Conception Cathedral and traditional marketplaces.

The tour concludes with a flight back to Manila and then home, leaving travellers with unforgettable memories of the Philippines' natural beauty and cultural richness.
