Il Molinello
The Molinello is above all an agriturismo (farm stay), but not only that.
Il Molinello started as a mill in the 1300s, and they turned it into a farmhouse in 1996, when their family fell in love with the magic of this place and decided to share it with those who want to visit Tuscany and the Crete Senesi.
If you are looking for a place where you can experience hospitality, relaxation and a connection to nature, come and visit us at Molinello!
Be it independent houses with private garden, or picturesque pieces of the original 14th century building, all our apartments have one thing in common: the care we put into making them comfortable and welcoming, ready to be a second home for all our guests. You will find that each apartment is unique, with names and personalities that will make your stay unforgettable. Take a look here to discover them and choose the one that's right for you!
If Tuscany is in your bucket list, but you don't know how to organize your trip, let us handle it! Whether it's a guided tour, activities to do car-free directly at the farm, or some more customized idea, the Molinello staff can't wait to put the knowledge of the area and the personal experience of true Tuscans to use!

Explore the jewels of the Tuscan countryside
One of the best ways to explore this area of Tuscany is by bike: an expert guide will accompany you day by day in exploring the jewels of the Tuscan countryside, discovering key areas like the Crete Senesi, the Val d’Orcia, the Chianti and the Valdichiana. You will bike in a different path every day, following the routes of the most exciting pro and non-pro races of the cycling world (Strade Bianche, Eroica, Via Francigena, Via Lauretana and so on). Together with the amazing rides, you’ll get to taste the wines that made Tuscany immortal, both at il Molinello and in the breathtaking cellars of the producers we trust and love the most, home-made cuisine made by the Molinello staff with locally sourced products, and of course you’ll also get to enjoy the culture and art that characterize our lands. Your safety and comfort are our main priority: on top of having an expert biking guide with you on all routes, you’ll also be followed by an assisting van, providing you with everything you might need on the ride.
