Half-Day Tour to the Historic Sites of Hanoi

This half-day tour was designed for those wanting to understand more about Thang Long- Hanoi with the places not included in a normal city tour. The capital is more than 1000 years old and Hanoian is always proud to have such a stubborn city during the wars. We will visit Thang Long ancient Citadel, a cultural complex that comprises Thang Long Imperial City during the dynasties of King Ly, King Tran, and King Le, and Hanoi Citadel during the Nguyen Dynasty. Through the ups and downs of Vietnamese history, the remains of the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long are roughly where the Hanoi Citadel lies today. We will bike on the most beautiful street in Hanoi named Phan Dinh Phung with hundreds of big trees. One place you should not miss is Huu Tiep Lake. Located in an area of Hanoi called Ngoc Ha (Flower Village), an American B-52 that was shot down during the Christmas bombing in 1968 (1972) sits rusting in a small pond surrounded by a busy market. The French Quarter, also known as the Ba Dinh District, reflects Hanoi’s colonial past. It was designed by the French in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, featuring wide tree-lined boulevards, colonial-era buildings, and architectural styles that blend French and Vietnamese influences.
