This region of Italia is a true cycling paradise. This adventure begins in the alpine village of Cortina surrounded by the massive summits of the Dolomites. From Cortina ride the world famous Sella Massifs’ Sellaronda loop featuring the passes of the Campolongo, Pordoi, Sella and Gardena. This tour will test our legs and heighten your senses. This area was recently added the UNESCO World Heritage sites as one of the most beautiful places on Earth.

This tour of California includes the spectacular climbs of Mt. Palomar and Mt Laguna along with many others. If you are thinking about doing something this year but just can’t swing something in Europe here is the perfect opportunity to save some dollars and challenge your legs in Southern California. The tour begins in the beautiful Lake Garda area of Italy which is between Milan and Venice. This region is located at the base of the Alps mountain range and offers a wealth of spectacular climbs, incredible scenery, fantastic wine, and also is home to many of the world’s best professionals. This tour offers a healthy mix of both challenging climbs and some easier rides for rest and recovery. We spend multiple days in various locations which makes it a great tour for non-riders as well.

You’ve seen these legendary climbs on TV, now it’s time to put your self up to the challenge. This tour is all about logging the miles and tackling the toughest climbs. Our tour starts off in the charming region of Lake Annecy for the start of our riding. Before tackling the biggest climbs we spend 2 days on the lake warming up on some small but equally breathtaking climbs around the lake region. Then climb over the Col de la Madeleine and into the heart of the Rhone Valley. The next few days are spent climbing the epic cols of the Galibier, Telegraph, Alpe d’Huez, and the Croix de Fer. We’ll even spend one night in Le Bourg d’Oisans, a cycling mecca of the Tour de France located at the base of Alpe d’Huez. This region of France is a true cyclists paradise, with stunning scenery, epic climbs, scrumptious French cuisine and locally produced wine.

Start in Geneva Switzerland and travers the French Alps to Nice.  Join GranFondo Cycling Tours this epic 450 mile odyssey through 3 countries and 19 legendary Cols including the Madeleine, Telegraphe, Galibier, Grandon, Alpe d’Huez and more. The tour includes all accommodations, breakfast, dinners, van support, daily route maps, bike case transport from Geneva to Nice, and tour Jersey.

This tour starts just outside Florence in Val di Pesa, where we will enjoy riding through the green vinyards of Chianti, wine tasting, and a special visitto the picturesque town of San Gimignano. We will spend nights in Siena, Pienza, Orvieto, and San Martino, with our final cycling destination Ladispoli, just outside of Rome.  Here you can enjoy the Seaside Etruscan necropolis or cap your Italian adventure with another two days in Rome.  We have created this tour with your comfort in mind. We will be staying in three and four star hotels and villas with multiple nights in the Chianti and in the Val d’Orcia regions so that you have ample time to relax, sightsee, and enjoy the most beautiful regions of Tuscany and Umbria.
