Burgundy, an area undoubtably famous for its diverse French cuisine and Côte d’Or wines.
This cycle tour not only gives you a perfect taste of these, but also passes through the wonderful local scenery and stops to see tremendous pieces of art. Enjoy visiting areas with a history of wealth home to luxurious and elaborate architecture, for example the Abbey of Cluny (which is over 1000 years old). The town of Beaune has much history to experience, as well as the dotted traditional villages you will visit. No two days will look the same on this trip.
This is a smooth cycle route, much of which is on the “Voie Verte”, along canals or on bridge paths, meaning the vast majority is flat. Other than this you’ll be using cycle paths and minor roads.
