Starting in the pretty baroque town of Schärding in Upper Austria, it’s a gentle ride along easy, mostly downhill tracks through Austria, ending up in the enchanting town of Linz. The terrain along the rivers Inn and Danube is either flat or descends slightly, you cycle mostly on a well-maintained cycle paths without any motorised vehicles. Only on very short segments on side roads.
