This tour includes 1.5-hour sightseeing bike tour (about 14 kilometers / 8 miles), 95% of which is on dedicated bicycle paths, + 1.5-hour guided walking tour with tastings at the farmers’ market and 3-4 eateries in the area.

Our tours are designed for leisure and recreational bicyclists and include visits to some of the most attractive sights and hidden gems in Ottawa. Once your tour is complete (approx. 2 hours) it’s time to chill out at Holtz Spa with a well deserved Massage or Signature Spa Pedicure and Reflexology.

We will first visit the War Memorial. Next, a leisurely ride on the Rideau Canal Pathway will give you a picturesque view of Ottawa’s downtown and popular Byward market neighbourhood. We will have  brief stops at Rideau Hall and Rideau Falls and then cross the bridge to visit the scenic province of Quebec and the spectacular Museum of History. Cycling back through the Voyageurs and Ottawa River pathways (or Sir John A. MacDonald Parkway) you will see and hear more of Ottawa’s charm and major attractions including Parliament Hill and National Art Gallery before returning to the spa for your relaxing treatments.

Your guided tour lasts about 3 hours in total and includes 4-5 stops at various gardens where you can enjoy the magnificent beauty of flowers and plants and learn about them from your guide. This leisurely bike tour starts at Escape Bicycle Tours and rentals location in downtown Ottawa (79 Sparks). Taking scenic Ottawa River and Voyageur pathways you will visit the following gardens: Rooftop Garden- Canadian Museum of War, Japanese Zen Garden- Canadian Museum of History, Rideau Hall Gardens. Heading back to the start point you will see and learn about the unique flower gardens at National Art Gallery and Major’s Hill park which leave you with a big smile as the tours ends.
