This ride is all about understanding the real soul of India, unity in diversity. Cycling through several villages, language accents, people, lakes, valleys, plantations, and whatnot.

Western Cost Mountains also are known as Western Ghat is listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The rich biodiversity of these mountains makes them one of the most important factors for weather and rains in the region. 4000+ species of plants, 650+ species of trees, 150+ species of reptiles, 170+ species of amphibians, 220+ species of fish and this list can go on forever. Started in 2016 and officially inaugurated in 2019 Lodhi is India’s first public art district. Over the years it has become one of the most relevant attractions of the city with more than 50 large scale murals by the best local and international artists. 
 
The Lodhi art Cycle tour will introduce you to the stories and concepts that inspired the project and its artworks while offering an insight into the history of the location. This will also be an unconventional way to experience art and the city in an interactive format.
 
Running for approximately 3.5 hours the tour will end at Humayun’s Tomb, giving a unique opportunity to journey from the contemporary to the past heritage of the city.
After the tour, we highly recommend visiting the Sunday market at Sunder Nursery as well. 
 
Visitors will be led by a guide from St+art India Foundation and a co-guide from Delhi by Cycle. A bottle of water and helmets (optional) will be provided to you before the commencement of the tour. We’ll take a break from bicycling halfway to re-energize with some tea and snacks at the Lodhi Central Park. Participants may also use this window to engage in conversations and ask for more information about the project. 

As a participant, we expect you to be moderately good with a bicycle and ready to ride a distance of around 11 km. Tour-specific details will be shared with the participants a day prior to the tour. Participants are required to report at the meeting point on time on the day of the tour.

We will pick you up from our meeting point by sharp at 06.00 am! Details are given below. We are going to drive a few kilometers away from Delhi to avoid traffic and highways. Behind every historical capital, there is a great river. The route is an ode to this river that has been a silent witness to Delhi’s history and is now a recurrent victim of its excesses.
