Colombia Bike Tours.cc, was established in 2018 to experience the incredible roads and landscapes of Colombia, a place increasingly popular to ride in and with still a very limited offer regarding cycling tours.
We perfectly know Colombia since this is where we are based, and when you join us, we want you to know what it feels like to be a professional cyclist and we promise to offer you an exceptional technical support, with a choice of astonishing hotels.
Among others, you will be climbing the most impresive “puertos de montaña” on the planet, like the Alto de Letras, an impressive climb of 82km with close to 3900 metres of accumulated vertical ascent! Or you you will be riding on the high plateau of Boyaca, in between 2600 and 3200 metres altitude, where many of the Colombian pro riders do their training. And there are just a few of many examples.

The Alto de Letras is one of the longest climb in the world – but in Colombia, we like saying it IS the longest climb on earth! With 82km and nearly 3900 meters of vertical ascent, it is definitely one of the most challenging climb ever. Join us in this truly amazing experience and become one of the only few cyclists who have tackled Letras.
For riders living close to sea level, we include in this tour some preparation easy rides at altitude around Bogota (2600 meters above sea level) so that they have a few days to get used to high altitude (the Alto de Letras stands at 3677 meters above sea level).

Ride on the high plateau of Boyacá, the heart of Colombian cycling, and meet some of the best pro riders in the world!
Starting in the capital city of Colombia, Bogotá, this bike tour will take you to several beautiful villages of the Boyacá department, including the amazing colonial village of Villa de Leyva where we will stay two nights, via the Boyacá plateau at 2700 meters altitude. We will then head to the thermal place Paipa, very famous in Colombia for its hot springs and large & nice hotels in the area.
Once in Paipa, we will have the opportunity to ride on the training roads of many Colombian champions and depending on the period of the year, we might also meet them: Nairo Quintana, Miguel Angel Lopez, Winner Anacona, etc… We will also have the opportunity to ride on the circuit of the 1995 UCI road race championships in the city of Duitama.
After a few days riding in Boyacá, we will then go back to Bogotá by riding some of the road on the way back. All in all, this bike tour will take you on roads located between 2150 and 3250 meters high!
