Sulawesi: Bike Adventure between the Seas

North Sulawesi enchants us with tropical flora, exotic animals and hospitable people.

Hardly any other island in Indonesia offers such diverse landscapes in such a small area.

Many volcanoes rise above the humid cloud forest. Lake Tondano stretches across the plateau and endless, beautiful sandy beaches beckon for a refreshing swim.

We discover bird paradises in the rainforests and mangroves, encounter hornbills and, with a little luck, the tarsier and the cuscus.

Of course, biking is not neglected: Most of the time we are on low-traffic asphalt roads and partly also on trails.
