Begginer level: Let’s enjoy downhill and easy rolling hills and admire the breathtaking scenery ending thermal bath of Bagno Vignoni, only 20 miles – easy ride with rolling hills.

Meet in Pienza, then set out through the countryside. We across the green pastures where many cheese factories produce pecorino, the delicious pungent cheese made using milk from the sheep we’ll see grazing alongside the road. Pienza is one of the most perfect Renaissance towns in Italy. We’ll take a good look around at its surprising lovely churches, palazzi e la piazza. After our visit we coast downhill to the enchanting spa town of Bagno Vignoni, a minuscule village whose ancient stone buildings cluster around a 150-by-90-foot pool of warm thermal waters.

The mystique of this land lies not only in its landscape, but also in its nature, its vineyards and its history: oak woods, olive groves and vineyards watch over enchanting hillsides, medieval villages and historical monuments. Each day you rise, enjoy good coffee espresso or Capuccino, cycle for five or six hours in the fresh air, and spend the night in a warm, welcoming inn.

Sardinia has always been a popular escape spot Not only for its beautiful beaches - but also, due to its remote nature and land, the waters rival the Caribbean! Island for adventurers and the varied landscape is ripe for exploration.  From the beaches to the mountains through forests and hilltop villages…Sardinia is not just a beach paradise, but a cyclist’s dream as well. Scantily populated with breathtaking views all around, you are free to explore the open road.  You will spend a week biking all around rugged Landscape of the island: from the west coast, Alghero and Bosa, to medieval villages and roman towns, such as Santu Lussurgiu, then down to Oristano, rich in history, you can visit Tharros, a Punic-Roman ruins complex, and admire the famous beach IS ARUTAS, made by pure white little pebbles. You will arrive in Sardara and round off the tour by visiting the unique nuraghe village - Unesco heritage site - Su nuraxi in Barumini.

Yes, there are hills to climb, but your efforts will be well rewarded with a sunny Mediterranean ambiance and a spirited flair for hospitality, Tuscany nourishes the soul and leads you to rejoice in the earthly pleasures of daily life.
Route we selected takes you along tranquil country lanes tracing the expanses between farmland crowned with walled villages, ancient monasteries in secluded valleys, and medieval forts. Staying in Pienza, Montalcino, Siena and heart of Chianti, you are sure to experience the true essence of Tuscany, where history and beauty fill the heart as water fills a well. Strongly suggested, after spinning through rolling vineyards, golden wheat fields and chalky white hills by day, savor pecorino cheese, homemade pasta pici, fruity olive oils and sip Tuscan wines Brunello and Nobile.

Meet in Castellina in Chianti. This is the best route for the serious wine lovers. It wends through the vineyards, past abandoned and renovated farmhouses on the way to one of Tuscany’s most renowned castles, Brolio. This is the heart of the Ricasoli empire, family headquarters since 1067 and center of countless battles between Florence and Siena during the Middle Ages. Many people consider that the wine we now know as Chianti was born inside its hallowed cellars, which we can visit. From here we continue on to the village of Monti, then on to delightful little San Sano village.
Back to Castellina by van.

In Montepulciano, from here we start our pleasant five-mile descent through the vineyards, where the only sound is the wind in our hair. Plunge into some of the most beautiful vineyards in Tuscany. Relaxed and glowing, it's time to set off on a long, slow climb towards Cortona, the delightful hilltown made famous by Frances Mayes in her bestselling novel Under the Tuscan Sun. After lunch at a local trattoria, we'll stroll around Cortona's pristine medieval streets….and then if we're up for it, we'll sail downhill back to Montepulciano.

Of course is la cucina Toscana – simplicity in its purest form. Tuscany cooks take advantage of the freshest seasonal products and tamper with their natural state as little as possible. The cooking and the cycling aspects will please anyone who has a strong interest in one or both of these great passions.

You will explore gorgeous loop rides in the beautiful val d’orcia: Pienza, Montalcino, San Quirico. Across Val di Chiana to reach Cortona,  Discover Crete Senesi, a rolling sea of  land and sightsee Siena town.

How much cooking will we do?
After you have worked up an appetite, we will feed you very well! Most days include a hands-on cooking class or a visit to taste local food artisan. Our dining-out experiences range from a simple osteria, to a family trattoria, and an elegant restaurant. You will come home inspired, not only with new recipes, but also with the enthusiasm to cultivate these lessons into your lifestyle.

Just southeast of Tuscany lies Umbria: Italy’s « green heart » is a wonderful mix of vineyards, olive groves and tiny Medieval villages perched upon the hillside. Stunningly beautiful region waiting to be discovered. Cycle through rolling hills dotted with castles, fortresses and watchtowers harks you back to the mysticism and mysteries of the Dark Ages and visit the well-preserved medieval hill towns harboring splendid Renaissance art and Assisi, where the region’s rich history can be found at every turn.
