Ciclomurgia 4cycling n' Trek
For 14 years, they have been dedicated to enhancing the natural and cultural heritage of the entire Puglia region, especially the Alta Murgia National Park, the land in which they live and where their unconditional love for nature was born.
We took our first steps back in 2008, developing, through the CicloMurgia Project, 11 cycling and hiking routes, with the grand dream of guiding as many people as possible to discover this corner of paradise.
Today, all of this has become a reality, and every year, there are more and more travelers who choose our team to be led through the wild nature of the Park

Once arrived in Ruvo di Puglia, you will taste the unmistakable flavors of this land in a cellar: organic wines and typical products of the Puglia region will inebriate your palate.

Ride through little-known areas of the Alta Murgia National Park
An unprecedented itinerary that takes you through little-known areas of the Alta Murgia National Park, running along a segment of the Path of Italy that connects Quasano to Altamura. It will take you by the Pulo di Altamura, a huge crater that seems to have been created by a meteorite. Instead, it is the result of thousands of years of water sculpting all kinds of forms into this karstic land.
Among the main points of architectural interest, you will discover a variety of ancient Jazzi (Farms for sheep) including JazzodellaSentinella, Jazzo di PietreTagliate and Jazzo di Lama Densa.
The Jazzo is an ancient type of farm typical of this area used to house sheep. Each of these three Jazzi will strike you with a unique feature that distinguishes it from the others.
At the end of the ride, you will visit the FattoriadellaMandorla, the only company in the world to produce a vegan, almond-based cheese. Taste it together with the other excellent products made from the Almond of Toritto (Slow Food Presidium).
Type itinerary: Ring (90% dirt road)

Puglia by bike among nature, history and charm.
We have thought of a program of over 8 days for those who want to combine exploring the green heart of Puglia with discovering the coast, supported by local guides ready to reveal every aspect of our territory and the fascinating culture of Puglia.
You will start from the southern coast of Bari, discovering the famous towns of Polignano a Mare and Monopoli. You will then continue along the Coastal Dunes Park along the Ancient Via Traiana, which in this stretch has been renamed the “Via of the Ancient Olive Trees” due to the dozens of thousand-year-old olive trees that make this itinerary unique.
You will then ascend towards Ostuni, the beautiful white city, to delve into the heart of the Itria Valley, passing through the charming villages of Locorotondo, Alberobello, and Noci.
The journey will continue towards the wonderful Alta Murgia National Park, the only pseudo-steppe in the Italian mainland, passing through the town of Altamura, Gravina in Puglia and Ruvo with a stop, outside the region, in Matera, one of the oldest cities in the world.
You will then descend towards the stunning city of Trani, “The Pearl of the Adriatic,” with its Romanesque cathedral by the sea, one of the most beautiful in Europe.
In the same bicycle journey, you will symbolically unite three UNESCO sites: Alberobello, with its trulli, Matera, the ancient city carved into the rock, and Castel del Monte with its octagonal shape and the mysticism that characterizes it.
The itinerary takes place on low-traffic asphalt roads and some stretches of light dirt roads.
