The tour starts with a drive to the beautiful Bua Thong waterfall with its dramatic white limestone cliffs.
Bua Thong waterfall is located in the Sri Lanna National Park and is referred to as the Sticky waterfall by the local people. The water is from a calcium-rich spring which flows down over the boulders of the waterfall and makes the rocks almost creamy white. They give a wonderful contrast to the green forest around it.
Here will start the leisurely bike ride up- and down the hills, surrounded by the pretty and pristine natural environments of the Sri Lanna National Park. We pass through local villages and forests at an easygoing pace and stop at a local produce stand to take a quick rest. We end the ride at the Mae Ngat Dam, a hydroelectric dam which impounds the Mae Ngat River where we switch our bikes for canoes.
We cast off for a relaxing canoe trip to a floating resort on the lake surrounded by tranquil hills and forests. The calm and quiet surroundings are only disturbed by the sound of birds and the wind, making this a peaceful and relaxing journey. Once arrived at the floating resort there is time to relax and swim after which we return to Chiang Mai.
