Floripa - Around the Island

Some say that Santa Catarina Island has 42 beaches, others swear that they reach 100. Anyone who has been to Floripa knows that it is never too long to discover these dozens of beauties, through its almost infinite diversity of landscapes.

In this tour of Volta a Ilha, discover the best charms and corners of Ilha da Magia at the rhythm of the bicycle. It will be 4 days covering all the regions, with its beaches, gastronomy and culture.

Starting on the  East of the Island , we will explore the famous beaches of Joaquina, Mole and the charming Barra da Lagoa, in addition to the Rio Vermelho State Park and Mozambique Beach, ending with a walk through the dunes to Costão do Santinho, whose rock inscriptions are testimony of the Guarani indigenous presence for many centuries.

The next day, the  North of the Island  awaits us: Praia Brava, Lagoinha, Ponta das Canas, Canasvieiras, the trendy Jurerê and Praia do Forte are beaches of the day, in addition to the rural region of the Ratones. The day ends with the sunset on the sea of Santo Antônio de Lisboa.

In Sambaqui, from where you can see the continent and oyster creations in the bay, the day begins on the  West of the Island , where we will also visit the historic center of Florian√≥polis and Ribeirêo da Ilha, with a panoramic view of the Serra do Tabuleiro State Park , the most important source of drinking water in the region.

The trip ends with a flourish in the small green bays of the  South of the Island , with the rural atmosphere of Costa de Dentro, the fresh waters of Lagoa do Peri and the fascinating history of Armaçêo and Matadeiro beaches, present in everyday life artisanal fishermen.
