Discover the heart of Brittany in France
A very easy route on near deserted roads and cycle path and yet one that has decent distances - you get to stay the two nights just outside Josselin. The following day you then have to ride just over 40 kms, all on the canal towpath, to Pontivy.
Though this isn't one of the shortest routes it is one of the easiest - with over half the distance being on the canal towpath and old railway track/cyclepath. Where it does use roads it is very quiet and the only days with anything that could be called hills are the last two (when you should be more ready for it) and both pretty short. This makes it a perfect route for people looking for quiet easy cycling or for those with teenage children on their own bikes - who you don't trust...
Average 17, longest 28 miles - very easy to begin with and pretty easy thereafter. Very quiet roads and cyclepath.

Beautiful ride to the finest Megalithic monuments in France
One of our most popular routes this gives the chance to cycle through quiet unspoilt countryside almost due south to the coast. Once there your hotel is 30 minutes ride from the biggest megalithic monument in Europe - Carnac. The beaches there are spectacular to say the least.
Average 23 miles, longest day 32 miles. Easy paced and varied. Carnac is probably one of the most famous monuments in France but the whole area is littered with Megalithic monuments, many of which you can walk round. Also available as a camping based tour.

Wonderful cycle to a little French fishing village
Binic is the most beautiful little tourist trap, and where we take out own children to the beach. The beach is lovely, the fishing village clusters around more like a Cornish village than one in France and there's a row of bars and restaurants all along the quayside. A lovely family atmostphere. The days are short so lots of time to sightsee as you pass through medieval market towns, past walled citidels and generally get 'lost in France'...
Average 16 miles, longest day 24 miles. Probably the easiest way to get to the coast. It's not flat but rather gentle hills to help you burn off at least some calories (you won’t lose weight...).

A real exploration of the heart of Brittany.
This is a really lovely ride through the unspoilt heartland of Brittany to the furthest West coastline of France. Much of the route is on bypassed mainroads which gives pretty direct routes with good surfaces but very little traffic.
The distances are pretty short although the route is generally one of the more hilly ones, but don't let that put you off! (Average 23, longest 36 miles - the long day being almost 100% flat on cyclepath so easy!) vanishingly quiet even in August

Hotel based tour to the prettiest port in Brittany
This is a really lovely ride through the unspoilt heartland of Brittany, immune to the vaguaries of the French tourist season and always beautiful - it also features some of the most varied and delicious restaurant choices of any or our cycle tours. Much of the route is on quiet country lanes and you get the chance to hit the coast at Morlaix and sample the finest seafood in France direct from the Bay. The distances are pretty moderate although the route has some well graded hills, but don't let that put you off as you will surely need to burn off calories...
Average 23, longest 38 miles - but can be shortened to 30 - just ask for the short version. Gorgeous, moderate cycling to the bustling port of Morlaix

Lovely hotel based ride to one of the finest beaches in Brittany
This is a ride for regular cyclists - not lycra clad racers with shaved legs, but if you cycle regularly - most weekends, commute etc then though the longest day is 60 kms (40 miles) you'll not find it hard, The reward is a route that takes you to some wonderful places, not least a Chateaux at the top of a hill where you'll dine like kings (or Queens) and the most beautiful beach you can imagine...
Average 25, longest 40 miles. Odd name for a route until you see the beach at Le Pouldu - a beautiful spot that reminds me of the Cornish beaches of my childhood.

Chateaux, Megalithic monuments, fabulous beaches, quiet cyclepath
Although billed as 'long' that's only compared to the alternative Carnac + Josselin route. This covers quite a bit more ground than the Carnac route - allowing you to ride right up to Pontivy and then on to Josselin to see one of the more spectacular Chateaux in France and the medieval heart of the town. Adding this to the pre Christian history of Brittany around Carnac gives plenty to see for any history buff as well as some gorgeous scenery and stunning beaches.
Average 35 miles, max 45 - This is an extended 'Carnac or Bust' route which takes you further East after Carnac to take in the Chateaux at Josselin.

Perfect for families with kids on their own bikes
This is a route that we've put together for people, especially families with small children on their own bikes, that want a route with virtually no hills and much of the riding on cyclepaths rather than roads. It's especially flexible because it can be cut down (though we'd recommend the longer version) easily - this means that if on day one you find your 10 year-old is having problems, you can just take the short-cut. The big incentive to get them to make the effort is the campsite at Carhaix. Not only is it a lovely peaceful site set by the river and lakes, but 200m from it is the most amazing adventure park. A day off here, with you relaxing whilst they swing 50 feet up in the trees, and go down a 250m 'death slide' is worth a bit of extra pedalling! Our kids loved this place and the standards of preparation and safety are second to none. For those not keen on Tarzan impressions there's a riding school right next by and the centre of this bustling market town is just a km or so away.
Average 13 miles - Max 17 miles Very, very easy. 85% cyclepath… - short-cut average nearer 8 miles a day) excellent for kids on their own bikes!

An easy introduction to lightweight cyclecamping
A lovely gentle wobble through the French countryside. Few hills, short distances, very quiet roads all make it a very easy introduction to cycling in Brittany. There's also quite a bit of slack and the opportunity to run days togeter so you can really tailor this however you want and for example take the Suday to stay in Gouarec and benefit from the market at Bon Repos?
Average mileage 14 mpd, maximum 20 miles - very quiet - easy
