The Escorial and surrounding areas of Madrid deserve more than just a day trip.

This week-long guided tour will show you the both the magnificent sights, and the off-the-beaten-path secrets the region has to offer. It’s a scenic, picturesque journey along country lanes and ancient Roman roads. Along the way you’ll enjoy delicious local cuisine, stop off at palaces, castles, and aqueducts. At every stop, our guides will regale you with stories from Spain’s rich history. The tour ends in Madrid with a weekend of tapas and nightlife. For the brave, or perhaps foolhardy, there will be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn how to dance flamenco. Olé!
