Big climbs, On-road
Our route in the French Alps will take us in a loop of the southern half of the Alps and will offer a mix of great climbs and historic towns.
We have also catered to the wider range of riders this year with shorter days but offering a lot of extra miles for those who are looking to bag as many passes as possible. As well as spending some time in the Alp dí Huez area we will also have extra time in some of the historic villages of Gallumes, Barcellonette and Entreveaux. All these areas offer some good riding as well as historic places to visit. Many passes made famous by past years of the Tour de France will feature in our journey. Col du Galibier, Col de la Cayolle and Col de Vars. We will also follow the route of stage 14 over Col du Lautaret and Col dí Izoard, along with Col dí Ornon and Le Alpe dí Huez from last yearís Tour.
