Biketour Napoli
Visit Naples in total freedom
Biketour Napoli was born out of the passion of some young Neapolitans, regular cyclists for work and pleasure, eager to show the traveler and the Neapolitan sceneries of the city far from the abused “postcards” as well as from the easy stereotypes.
Over the years as they have traveled the world by bike and explored their city, they have found the eyes to “discover” new urban identities, unearth hidden gems and savour a soul of the city vibrant with energy and positivity, and now they have decided to share all this with those who, endowed with a spirit of observation and the wonder of children, want to savor and nurture, during their stay or their daily Neapolitan life, a feeling of love for our land.
In addition to the itineraries you can find here and in more detail on the website, we can arrange routes tailored to your abilities and cravings such as road itineraries in the Sorrento peninsula, off-road adventures in the Phlegrean hills, the legendary ascent to Vesuvius, and much more that we can agree on together.
We are flexible, patient, and always ready to stop for a photo or a laugh in your company!

Seeking the Greek-Roman roots of the city.
Our bestseller, perfect for a first perfect for a first look at the city !
We’ll follow the promenade of Naples, touching the magical original nucleus of the city, Castel dell’ Ovo, its underlying village “Borgo Marinari”, heading east on Via Caracciolo.
Then a ride along the stately Piazza del Plebiscito and the Royal Palace lead us to the commercial and bustling area of Via Toledo, Piazza Carità and Piazza del Gesù.
Here starts the ancient Greek hearth of Naples, with its Decumani – the main parallel roads of the Greek city Neapolis, crossing dozens of “vicoli”, the narrow tiny streets of the historical city center.
We ride the lower Decumano heading up to the central (called “Maggiore”), Via dei Tribunali and Anticaglia. Extension, if your legs or the e-bike if your legs will push you up the steep climb: from Piazza del Plebiscito with a short climb we go on the top of Mount Echia, the first mainland site of Greek settlers.
A beautiful view on Castel dell’Ovo and the Bay of Naples enlighten your tour.

Explore Naples and the Campi Flegrei area with coastal promenades, historic landmarks, panoramic hilltop views, archaeological wonders, and lush lakeside nature.
Initially we follow the promenade of Naples, touching the magical original nucleus of the city, Castel dell’ Ovo, its underlying village “Borgo Marinari”, heading west on Via Caracciolo where you pedal along Naples promenade, once the beach serving the old fishing district of Naples, the folk neighborhood of Mergellina and elegant Chiaia, now a popular spot for a walk or a bar crawl.
A light, steady climb takes us on the hill of Posillipo, a panoramic oasis so close and yet far from the city, dear to poets and nobles, with its villas overlooking the sea, the bold road that bypasses caves and gullies and crosses with the winding down that lead the former agricultural villages of the hill, to the green sea sailed by the fishing boats.
The journey continues with the sightseeing of the Pausilypon archeological area (optional), the astonishing Villa of Vedio Pollione and the panoramic viewpoint overlooking the charming bay of Trentaremi. Professional guides from the CSI Gaiola (on reservation) will lead us through the beauties of the site.
Afterwards we will gently descend towards the neighborhood of Bagnoli and then move to the heart of the Campi Flegrei area, the town of Pozzuoli. Here we will stop at the Temple of Serapis, known to be the “thermometer” of the volcanic phenomenon of bradyseism (raising and lowering of the ground level).
From the center of Pozzuoli to the mysterious and fascinating Lago D’Averno is just a throw of a stone. The circumnavigation of the lake, part of the Park of Campi Flegrei, is an easy ride by bike and allows participants to see the remains of the Temple of Apollo romantically surrounded by a lush nature.
Ducks, cormorants, geese and other inhabitants of the lake greet cyclists heading towards Pozzuoli. On our way back we will ride along the promenade of Pozzuoli and we will stop at the North Jetty in via Coroglio, near Piazza Bagnoli, to enjoy the view “from the sea” of Campi Flegrei.
Unforgettable is the sensation of touching the nearby tiny island of Nisida and having the impressive bulk of Ischia island in the same picture. More details about the history of the area and the undergoing redevelopment projects are provided by our guide.
