Cycling through Cuba is one of the best ways to experience this fascinating country. Most Cubans travel by bike, rendering the roads relatively car free. On this adventure we spend eight days biking through Central Cuba's most cultural and historically rich cities, including Havana, Cienfuegos, Trinidad, and the Bay of Pigs. We stay far from the all-inclusive beach resorts and experience the authentic Cuba.

'Island Hopping Greece' showcases Greece as an ancient giant endowed with present day adventure. During this 9-day tour we navigate across pristine beaches, stone ruins, mythological mountains and multi-coloured cliffs. After marveling at the Athens Acropolis, we set sail for rocky isles. The Galapagos Islands are a living laboratory of evolution. The hot and frigid currents that meet at the Equator have produced an incredibly rich and unique diversity in the marine life. There are no predators, so the animals are friendly. It is literally possible to walk right up to blue-footed boobies, lava lizards, equatorial penguins, sea lions and pink flamingos without them scurrying off in fear.

On BikeHike's 10-day Galapagos land tour, we travel far from the crowds and cruises and view the islands from a very different perspective. We bob through the ocean surf by sea kayak, paddling alongside giant sea turtles, seals and bottle-nosed dolphins. Inland we whisk along dirt trails on bikes and our own two feet. We cap in the saddle, riding mountain bikes across golden meadows, dotted with Maasai bomas and grazing herds of big game animals including zebra, elephant, giraffe and wildebeest.

We begin in the city of Aberdeen, on the east coast. We leave the city behind and ride all the way across the Highlands through the backcountry to the tip of the Ardnamurchan Peninsula - the westernmost point of mainland Britain. This is the ultimate multi-day mountain bike ride in the UK and offers world class riding each day through some of the most spectacular scenery in the Scottish Highlands.

This 10-day Morocco cycling tour features mountain and desert biking through the deep south, a land of big skies and stark mountain ranges. Adobe kasbahs are scattered throughout the desert amongst palm fringed oases framed by snowcapped mountains. We ride along a network of dirt paths that wind from Marrakech to the highest pass in the Atlas Mountains, then head southbound to the Sahara Desert. The riding is along rocky, jeep tracks covering an average of 50km/ 31 miles per day. We pedal through traditional villages, visiting the ancient kasbah of Ait Benhaddou and stop for tea breaks to experience the legendary hospitality of the Berbers. As we descend from the High Atlas, the landscape changes and the Sahara desert starts to make its imprint. We head into the dunes in 4x4 jeeps, with the chance to ride camels before feasting on a desert barbecue and a night of slumber under starry Saharan skies.
