This 15-day cycling tour begins and ends in Chengdu, is designed as a challenging ride. From the heart of the Sichuan basin we travel into the foothills of the Himalayas visiting the Wolong Panda Reserve, the Tibetan town of Danba with their fascinating defensive towers and temples, to the Hailougou Glacier Park at the foot of Mt. Gongga, a 7,556 meter (24,800 ft) mountain. There are several days where there will be vehicle support. This tour will visit both well-known and little-known sights and will appeal to those who have cultural, social, and geographical interests.

Inclusions
All hotel accommodations for 15 nights. Meals eaten as group (private meals, snacks and alcoholic beverages are not included). All group land transportation costs (buses, boats, and taxis) plus two flights (from Kunming to Shangri-La (Zhongdian) and from Lijiang to Kunming). All group entrance fees. Rental bikes and related biking gear including helmets, gloves, bike bags and raincapes. Bilingual bike tour guide to accompany the group throughout the tour.
