Terelj NP MTB

Terlj National park, located within a couple of hours drive from Ulaan Baatar, has some of the most spectacular and varied scenery near the capital. Whilst it gets relatively more visitors than other parts of Mongolia due to it's accessibility, it is hardly over run and there's plenty of scope to lose yourself among countless valleys and mountain ranges. Much of the park is difficult to access even by 4WD which makes it perfect for mountain biking. Traditional life is everywhere and the park still teems with wildflowers, clear rivers and wildlife. Definitely an adventure for those that like riding on dirt as there are challenging climbs, downhills, river crossings and rock strewn track. Riders of all abilities can enjoy this trip and there is a support vehicle handy to jump in if needed. This is one of our favourite Mongolia cycling tours.
