Cycling Holiday (Barcelona)

This 4 day, 5 night guided winter cycling holiday covers approximately 300 kilometers in total, with each day starting and finishing in Barcelona.

Situated on the Mediterranean coast in north eastern Spain, Barcelona is the capital city of the region of Catalonia. Visited by millions every year, the city offers something for everyone, from culture and history, great food, the beach and of course an endless night-life. But the real beauty lies just outside the city and our winter tour takes you through the rural outskirts of Barcelona, through the mountain ranges, along the coast and in to the countryside.

The winter months in Barcelona tend to be dry and sunny with daytime temperatures averaging around 15-16 degrees celsius with a late Mediterranean sunset, pretty good for winter cycling wouldn’t you agree? Each day will be around 50-80km and will follow the quiet secondary roads as we explore the rural outskirts of the city. You will enjoy a bit of everything from small local villages, the fresh air of the Catalan countryside and plenty of coastal views, whilst being able to make the most of everything Barcelona has to offer in the evenings.
