Bangkok By Bike arrange bicycle tours in Bangkok and its surroundings.
_We are an independent, TAT-licensed company and travelers can approach us directly without agents in between. We have specialized in using bicycles, sometimes in combination with boats, ferries and trains. Our experience tells us this is a good combination, which gives our customers the opportunity to explore areas which are almost impossible by your own.
We have customers of all nationalities especially from the Scandinavian countries. Our guides guiding in English, but other languages are possible on demand. Our tours will generally be small, not more than ten people. It is easier to get a personal touch to all the travelers and help us to get a positive contact with the locals as well._

This trip aims to show you the contrasts in the Thai community and our journey through different areas will exemplify this clearly.
This trip heads north away from all tourist tracks. In the beginning we follow the river through typical Thai neighborhood, small, narrow alleys close to ordinary Thai homes. First stop is to take a close look at one of Bangkok’s most recent constructions. Sometimes we also have time for a short walk in a nice and well trimmed park. Back on the bicycle again, we are passing several schools and if we are lucky we may see the first lesson outdoor. We will continue north-west through other kind of neighborhoods and make stops at a couple of very spectacular temples, never mentioned in any guide-book.
The final part of the trip, goes mainly on elevated concrete paths through green areas with plenty of nice scenery. It is really hard to believe Bangkok is so close and at the same time seems so far away. But in between we will visit a local market and enjoy our lunch by the canal. At the same time we are able to see some of the traditional houses, built on stilts, standing in water.

It is very exciting cycling in Bangkok in the daytime, and even more so at night. We will start the trip just at dusk and crossing the river by ferry.
This trip will cover the area of Ratthanakosin Island where many tourists come for sightseeing. We will pass almost all of the famous temples and monuments. We can use some of the normal streets, which are almost free from traffic this time of the night. All tourist-coaches are gone and leave us plenty of room to cycle safe and relaxed. This trip does not focus on the daily life as the other trips, but instead give you some nice scenery. Some of the temples are very beautiful when lit up at night – Wat Prakaew, Wat Pho, Wat Arun and Golden Mountain just to mention some of them. One of many highlights of this trip, not to forget, is the wonderful flower market. Despite it is late, it is really busy. The very last part of the trip we are biking through the famous backpacker district Banglamphoo, and enjoy the street life for the crowds of tourists. Quite a contrast to rest of the trip. The trip is fairly short, but we still cover most of the sightseeing other tourists spend days to cover. When we are back at the office we can sit down a while and relax at the office, if you want.
