Cycle the easy Twin Coast Trail and dip your wheel into both the Pacific and Tasman seas!
Discover the history and beauty that surrounds the Twin Coast Cycle Trail between Pahia & the Pacific Ocean on the east, & the Hokianga Harbour on the west.
The 87km trail follows the path of long-gone railways, logging trams & water races from the mining days, weaving its way through estuarys edged with mangroves, across graceful suspension bridges & rolling farmland.
In true Northland style, the trail is scattered with hidden gems, including the famous mosaic Huntervasser toilets, an 80m tunnel & classic Kiwi pubs.
Our expert guides will show you the best highlights on and off the trail including a ferry to Russel & walk up Flagstaff Hill, a visit to the Te Rito Marae & the opportunity to explore the Bay of Islands by kayak, paddleboard or jet ski.
Character-filled towns, atmospheric accommodation and friendly welcomes are all part of the package, as is the passion and local knowledge of our crew. Being invited onto a marae is always a special experience and our visit to Te Rito Marae gives us the opportunity to meet the local Hapu and learn about their history, place and people through evocative stories.
