We’ll mix one of the best bike rides around Podgorica and delicious bites in Lake Skadar National park
From our meeting point in Podgorica we ride across the city and pass some of it’s best sights. After 5km we exit Podgorica and ride on a small side road to the Ottoman fortress of “Zabljak Crnojevica”. It is a short climb by foot to the top where you can enjoy a marvellous view towards biggest lake of the Balkan peninsula. We cross the vast floodlands of the lake and maybe we are lucky to spot wild horses. We reach the picturesque village of Dodosi, tucked into the stone and far off the next main road. After Dodosi we also have to master our only ascent section. Only a few kilometers more and our cycling concludes in the vineyard of our artisan winery. Sample some of naturally produced “Vranac” red wine together with ham, cheese and seasonal home grown vegetables. Farm to fork in Montenegro. Enjoy and wind down before we return to Podgorica.
