A look at our relief map will show you that the coastlines of all 5 countries (Guernsey is technically a country) we’ll be cycling are traced by remarkably gentle roads, the largest hills on most days will be the shoreline bluffs of less than 100 feet. In addition to our daily pair of zero-mile options (remaining on the ship or reaching prime attractions via Santana’s non-rider coach), every day has multiple cycling routes. Anyone who can ride 35 flat miles will be able to enjoy multiple days of easy. Longer routes are available, and typically allow 60 or more miles.

These ancient lands reflect the heritage of Australia's First Peoples who lived out there admirably well - and the courage, tragedies and successes of European explorers like the famed but unfortunate Burke and Wills - and the settlers who forged their existence in what was, for them, a land of unforgiving remoteness.

The ride can be considered to have 4 stages, each about one week:

• Week One explores the majestic Flinders Ranges to reach the desert railhead of Marree.
• Week Two traverses the legendary Birdsville Track.
• Week Three rolls across Queensland's vast Channel Country to Mt Isa.
• Week Four rides the Gulf Country to Normanton and Karumba.

The most recent rides took place in May-June and June-July 2022 with 20-24 riders. Ages ranged from 30s to 70s with the median age in the early-60s.

A unique trip, following the River Ebro, the longest in Spain, as it flows from its source in the Cantabrian Mountains. It begins as a mountain stream flowing through green pastures and valleys, imposing canyons, vineyards, past pretty and unknown villages, As we cycle we perceive the changes in the landscape and the river itself. Finally we arrive in La Rioja, home of the finest Spanish wines. A sea of vineyards dotted with ancient villages, castles and wineries. A magnificent trip for those who wish to visit parts of Spain the tourists never see.

5 km outside of Nice you find the former fishing village Villefranche-sur-Mer.  Villefranche-sur-Mer attracts people from all over the world to visit the picturesque streets, the beautiful bay and wide sand beaches. Framing the bay you find Cap-Ferrat.

We meet in central Nice from where we start by going via the Promenade des Anglais. We pass the harbour and climb the ocean road in an easy pace. It starts with a 2 km uphill to Mont-Boron, but we go in an easy pace. You will be rewarded with a magnificent view in Mont Boron of the bays towards Nice and Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat!

When we reach Villefranche, we stop in the old town for you to walk around and perhaps buy a snack or coffee. We can visit the old habour and the magnificent beach front.

From Villefranche, we climb to the main road again to go 2 km further on the road from Nice to make a round-trip at Cap-Ferrat.

The cap is known for glamourous villas, e.g. Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild. We make stops to enjoy beautiful sceneries of the views to Nice, Villefranche-sur-Mer, Beaulieu-sur-Mer and Eze. As we reach the lighthouse , we get off the bikes to discover the scenic rocks surronding it.

At this point of the trip, you make feel like making a stop in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat for a drink, before we make our way back to Nice.

Follow the beautiful coastline of Northern Spain, from Bilbao in the Basque Country to Ribadesella in Asturias. Bilbao and the Guggenheim Museum, wonderful and unspoilt beaches, pretty villages, all in the same tour.

Way back in 2009, we rode Hannibal for the BBC making a documentary about the history and amazing cycling in Spain, France and Italy. It has also been our most popular Odyssey with over 200 people having cycled 2700km and 45,000m of elevation each on their way across Europe over the Pyrenees and Alps.

In 2026, we have a new format for Hannibal. Highlights of Hannibal is our 'best of' adaptation. We have selected our favourite parts of the Hannibal Odyssey to explore in depth, with less hotel changes and more cycling options.

Our Highlights of Hannibal format is simple:

• 5 carefully chosen locations - Catalonia, Provence, Alps, Piedmont and Tuscany.
• 3 nights in one great hotel in each location - total 5 hotels all below.
• 3 days of riding per location for an in-depth exploration of our favourite spots both on Hannibal and in Europe.
• Daily multiple cycling options for easier and more challenging routes, making this accessible to all rider levels.
• Total - 15 nights / 16 days.

Hannibal Barca is one of the greatest military commanders of all time. As a leader of the ancient superpower, Carthage, he waged a lifelong war against the Romans and nearly destroyed them. And yet, today we know very little about Hannibal or his people: the Carthaginians. What we do remember is one of his amazing feats: to fight the Romans on their own turf, leading an army that included nearly forty elephants over the frozen mountain tops of the Alps and into Italy.

Our guides will take you on a full-day bicycle tour through the winding alleyways, and gorgeous plazas that served as a backdrop to some of the most pivotal moments in Spanish history. The tour starts at our office in Madrid. From there we’ll drive to Toledo, and cycle along the Tagus river towards the city. Once inside its medieval walls, we’ll be stopping to see the fortresses, cathedrals, synagogues, and museums.

A three-course lunch is optional after which, we’ll continue seeing some more of the city. Before heading back to Madrid, we make one final stop at the Parador hotel and enjoy a well-earned drink, taking in the spectacular views from its dazzling roof terrace.

The trans-African crossing from Cairo to Cape Town has long been one of the world’s epic journeys and an iconic goal for global adventurers. Over the years this quest has inspired many to attempt to complete the route and in 2003, we decided to tackle it by bicycle. Our Tour d’Afrique Cycling Expedition is a unique test of mind and body, that will ultimately reward riders with an intense feeling of personal satisfaction and accomplishment.

Our flagship expedition crosses Africa from north to south. Each year the route changes to adapt to changing political and environmental realities and to give riders the best experience possible. As riders pedal along the Nile past ancient temples before flying to Nairobi, Kenya to continue the journey southwards. The cyclists spin past legendary Mount Kilimanjaro and Lake Malawi and stop to admire the incredible power of Victoria Falls. Finally, the track follows the edge of the magnificent Kalahari desert, past the towering red dunes of Namibia and finishes in the shadow of Table Mountain in beautiful Cape Town, South Africa.

The most famous 4 River Bike Road is Han River Bike Road(209km), Saejae Bike Road(100km), and Nakdong River Bike road(324km), and we can ride bike between Seoul and Busan. STB(Seoul to Busan) Bike Tour is designed to discover whole South Korea on two wheels. While adventurers ride bikes everywhere in South Korea from Seoul to Busan as passing Seoul, Gyeonggi Do, Gangwon Do, Chungcheong Do, Gyeongsang Do, and Busan, the travelers will meet lots of locals and very unique Korean local cultures which are real face of South Korea. The Central West Cycle trail provides a 400 km circuit through the rolling rural landscape away from the main road. Located in the state of New South Wales, Australia the circuit has been developed by local cyclists who know the backroads between the towns.

• Day 1: Dubbo to Wellington via Geurie – 64km
• Day 2: Wellington to Gulgong via Goolma – 76km
• Day 3: Gulgong to Dunedoo – 58km
• Day 4: Dunedoo to Mendooran – 63km
• Day 5: Mendooran to Ballimore – 52-61km
• Day 6: Ballimore to Dubbo via Wongarbon – 55km

Cycle trip through the picturesque regions of Biarritz, the French Basque Country, and parts of Spain. Participants will experience challenging climbs, including the famous Col du Tourmalet and other legendary passes from the Tour de France. The journey includes scenic descents, cultural exploration, and opportunities for relaxation in charming towns. The trip concludes with a transfer to the airport for the return journey.

This route takes you from Coolah, through charming Binnaway, and into the vibrant town of Coonabarabran, known as the gateway to the Warrumbungle National Park. The park itself offers stunning vistas, rugged landscapes, and challenging trails for keen cyclists. Continuing on to Tooraweenah, riders can enjoy a blend of scenic beauty and local hospitality. This trail is perfect for those seeking adventure and the chance to immerse themselves in the unique natural wonders of New South Wales.

Each day you'll cycle approximately 75km (~35km before and after lunch), interacting with Malaysia and Thailand first-hand, enjoying the fabulous local food, seeing sides to these countries that are the privilege of the bicycle saddle. When the cycling is over you will see enjoy some of Asia's very best beaches, soak in hot springs and enjoy secret out-of-the-way places.

At the end, you'll not only have had a sublime active holiday, but you can boast of a brilliant achievement - cycling from Langkawi to Krabi! The old categories of "Mad Dogs" and "Wild Cats" have been merged. The daily distances of approx 70-75km per day are enjoyable for experienced cyclists and challenging yet very much within reach of those who are new to cycling. ​ Given that you arrive the day before, and probably leave the day after, it's an eight-day adventure holiday, fitting into a week off work. We believe that this meticulously crafted, revamped itinerary is our best ride ever!

This is a scintillating and unique opportunity to experience a deeply personal interaction with Malaysia and Thailand – the people, the food, the landscape, the street life, the culture. You will have a privileged view of life in these countries, and support is always to hand when needed. The vehicle also available for those who have had enough cycling for the time being. Imagine if the Alps or the Rockies were at sea level. The southwest coast of Norway offers warm summer cycling on smooth gentle roads skirting fjords, inlets and islands. Sunny days without steep hills or bothersome traffic.

Many would guess that a Norwegian Cycling Tour might be too tough to be enjoyable—but Santana’s Norwegian Cycling Cruise traces the coast to provide a week of rides that are deceptively easy. Enthusiasts who want an epic challenge can turn inland and climb to reach unbelievable vistas. Each day has multiple cycling options, as well as our duo of non-cycling options.

What about the routes? Shortest routes will be around 35 flat miles, mid-length routes around 40-50 with some gentle hills, longer routes are 55+ with a few more hills. Non-cycling options? Our panoramic-window coach will arrive at the gangplank each morning to transport any who would prefer a non-pedaling break from cycling without missing the highlights enjoyed by those who ride. Easier still is to remain aboard for swimming, reading or relaxing.

Optional 3-day Oslo PreTour that includes the 55 minute flight from Oslo’s OSL Airport to Bergen’s BGO Airport for our cruise embark. We’ll spend a few days exploring Oslo, where museums, art, and architecture celebrate the country’s viking heritage.

Jeju Island is Korea's volcanic island which is egg-shaped and located far southern part of South Korea. So it has many beautiful white beaches along the coastal line. Jeju Island is famous for its emerald color of the ocean and exotic scenery of tropical climate. But the best reason why Jeju Island is beloved by Korean riders is its 'Fantastic Bike Trail' along the ocean. Jeju Island built this safe and well paved bike path around the island as expecting bike travelers to enjoy bike riding so this 'Fantastic Bike Trail' leads bike travelers literally everywhere in Jeju Island so that bike travelers discover more and more of Jeju Island. Please come to Jeju Island and ride together. Oh and don't forget about amazing Jeju Island's sea food selection.

Perched on the edge of the Baltic Sea, the riders can explore its splendid 14th century Old Town or the Art Museum of Estonia, housed in what was once the palace of Peter the Great. Departing Tallinn, the route takes the riders south across the rolling countryside before continuing along the shores of the Gulf of Riga. They will spin through Parnu, known as the ‘Riviera’ of Estonia, with its sandy beaches and waterfront promenade. The route continues into Latvia, stopping for a rest day in Riga, often referred to as the ‘Paris of the North’.

In Riga, the largest city in the Baltic States, the cyclists can wander through its pedestrian-only medieval Old Town. Architecture buffs will marvel at Riga’s Art Nouveau heritage. In fact, almost 1 in every 3 buildings in the city’s centre were constructed in this style. The riders will spin south the next day, crossing the border into the third of the Baltic States, Lithuania. The route then takes the cyclists out across the less travelled central portion of that country, pedalling through small villages and vast forests before ending their journey in Vilnius, with its Baroque Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
