Wheely Wonderful Cycling has over 25 years of experience, providing wonderful self guided cycling holidays in Shropshire, Herefordshire, Wales and the Welsh borders. They think this area offers the best cycling in Europe. River valleys , cutting through spectacular hills, dominated by ruined castles. All their holidays start from their base at Petchfield Farm in the Teme valley, near the historic town of Ludlow.

There are big castles at Clun, Montgomery & Ludlow and fortifications everywhere. Dont miss the spectacular Caer Caradoc Iron Age hill fort at Church Stretton. 7 day cycle tour through the Wye Valley and Brecon Beacons National Park
The Brecon Beacons dominate the landscape of the Welsh borders, wherever you go on this cycling holiday, you can see the spectacular mountain of Pen y Fan looming in the distance. Around the base of the mountains is the River Usk - and this provides the perfect cycling route into the Beacons. This tour leads you down to the River Wye and on to the Cathedral town of Brecon, Crickhowell & past the stunning ruins of Llanthony Abbey, over Gospel Pass (and the Black Mountains) and back up the Wye Valley.
The cycling is easy to moderate in the valleys with one challenging day across The Gospel Pass! Total 138 miles (221 km). Opportunities for longer rides each day.

We are delighted to be able to offer a cycling holiday along the best part of the Welsh National Cycle route (Lon Las Cymru) in Mid-Wales. This seven-day tour takes you through the Black and White Villages from Presteigne to Hay on Wye where you stay for 2 nights. Then cycle up the Wye Valley through Builth Wells to the Elan Valley and Red Kite country. Two nights at Rhayader. Final night in Teme Valley. Easy to moderate cycling with one difficult day of 37 miles and two hills. Total 126 to 180 miles.
