In cycling circles, the northeastern tip of Nova Scotia is renowned for its twin biking treasures: Cape Breton Highlands National Park and the 180-mile Cabot Trail.
With its serpentine route and nonstop seaside panoramas, the Trail belongs on the “life list” of every dedicated biker. Our route includes the most beautiful sections of both the Trail and the Park, along with easier cycling in the interior’s Margaree Valley: sugar maple forests and salmon-rich streams, the Artisan Trail with its wealth of talented crafters, and the Fleur-de-Lis Route, ending at the Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site.

In the spring the rich colors of the Alentejo are at their brightest.
Our route winds past hillsides carpeted in wildflowers and poppies, groves of cork and olives, and whitewashed villages accented by cobalt blue trim and ornate azulejos. We’ll end each day in one of Portugal’s loveliest towns, whose cobbled streets and turreted castles hint at their storied past. Unique accommodations include the Pousadas de Portugal and a 15th century convent in a fairy-tale setting — historic and architectural landmarks that have been transformed into one-of-a-kind hotels.

Between its azure skies and Atlantic shores, the Algarve boasts more shades of blue than even Martha Stewart could imagine!
Our southern Portugal biking route traces the Atlantic coast to the land's end at Cabo de São Vicente, continues to lively Lagos, and tops it off in the mountain forests of the Serra da Monchique (new for 2019!). Several two-night stays allow options for biking, hiking, a dolphin watch, or just relaxing. Along the way we'll pedal past ever-changing ocean views: tiny fishing villages, colorful harbors, towering sea cliffs, and golden sand dunes - not to mention some of the most beautiful beaches in Europe.

Seekers and adventurers from around the world have been drawn to 'The Road to Santiago' since the year 814, when a shower of falling stars guided the Spanish hermit Pelayo to Santiago and the hidden tomb of the apostle St. James.
History, mystery, legends and traditions line every mile of the 1,100-year-old route. Our biking tour follows the ancient trail across the plains of Castile, wheat fields of Le√≥n, and emerald mountains of Galicia to the magnificent Cathedral of Santiago. Biking the Camino is both an adventure and an accomplishment – an incomparable sojourn that will inspire memories to last a lifetime. More than any other bike trip, it’s a journey of the body, mind, and spirit.
To accommodate the varying schedules (and energy levels) of aspiring bike pilgrims, we offer our Camino de Santiago bike tour in two lengths: a 11-day itinerary beginning in Burgos, and a shorter 8-day Camino which joins the tour en route in León.

Shared by Portugal and Spain, the lush countryside of the Minho river valley stretches all the way to the Atlantic coast.
Our tour explores Portugal’s wine country, where terraced hillsides strung sky-high with grapevines are interspersed with sleepy red-tile-roofed villages and colorful market towns. Crossing the Rio Minho into Spain, we'll cycle through the verdant Galician countryside to the seaside resort of Baiona. A grand finale ride spins past wild horses, mystical Celtic ruins, and the sparking Atlantic. We’ll spend our nights in Spanish paradors and Portuguese manor houses, including an award-winning wine estate. Along the way, we’ll toast our travels with the local wines, including the Minho's crisp vinhos verdes. Sa√∫de! Salud! Cheers!
