France Coast-to-Coast

The French coast-to-coast is a 9-day ride and takes us on a northerly route to the west of Lyon and Paris .Rolling out from the historic city of Montpellier on the south Mediterranean coast, the tour meanders along the minor roads of Languedoc characterised by vineyards arid and rocky Mediterranean hills with their vegetation of scrub, aromatic bushes and occasional fields. Eventually the wooded and rural valleys give way to the Cevennes hills and the southern peaks of the Massif Central.Routing NNW through rural landscapes with an abundance of green hills, rivers and crystal clear lakes along with sleepy villages and towns, the route tracks up through Poitou-Charentes and eventually this glorious ride ends on the coast at Cherbourg.The tour is roughly 650 miles in total averaging just over 70 miles a day with ample breaks. It suits both genders and all age groups. As with all our tours the numbers will be limited to a maximum of 12 per ride, allowing our support team to provide you with an adventure you will simply never forget.
