The second section of the Great Mississippi River Ride covers 397 miles in 5 cycling days (6 total). Ride the Mississippi River Trail and cross the Mississippi River into rural farm country along the way from Memphis TN to St Louis MO.

Great Central River Ride begins as we pick up the Mississippi River Trail, cross the river and spin back into the countryside of Tennessee. Enjoy the southern hospitality! The next day we take a ferry ride across the Mississippi River and touch 4 states in one day, Tennessee, Kentucky, Illinois and Missouri. As we enter Missouri the State will  “SHOW ME” some flat rural farm country and the cycling is terrific. You will have an opportunity to see some Missouri rollers as we work our way in and out of the river valley. We wind our way along the river again and see the river boats as we pass the locks nearing St. Louis. And finally come out of the country, cross the river and head into downtown St. Louis. You will definitely want to visit the Gateway Arch before you head home.
