Amazing Journey from City to Coast to Siem Reap
Join us on this amazing Cambodia Cycling Tour. Exclusively put together by Tour de Vines. Departing Phnom Penh and cycling to Siem Reap, this 8 day immersive tour gets you up close & personal with this incredible country.
The unique part of this tour is that it's not all about the cycling.
This Cambodia Cycling Tour includes an 'away from the crowds' fully guided experience at UNESCO listed Angkor Wat. This is an experience in itself, and worth coming to Cambodia for on its' own. Learn the fascinating story of these ancient temples, see the sunrise over the pagodas and visit less touristy temples on this inspiring visit.
We also uncover the secrets of Asian cooking with our exclusive private cooking class in Siem Reap. Be surprised by how good the food in Cambodia is!
We visit rural villages with smiling locals, take a ride on a ferry with our bikes over Lake Tonle Sap and experience real life in Asia. We will also learn about some of the darker history of Cambodia with locally guided history tours whilst in Phnom Penh, a moving experience.
The cycling component has been specifically developed for recreational cyclists, averaging around 45kms per days on flat and easy terrain. The cycling is fully guided and supported with a support van never far away.
Highlights
- Full day guided cycling tour of UNESCO listed Angkor Wat in Siem Reap (escape the crowds, visit lesser known but equally impressive temples, watch the sunrise over this stunning site).
- Participate in a wok style cooking class at a local cooking school and learn the secrets to great Asian flavours
- The weather. We have timed this tour to take advantage of warm but dry weather in Cambodia, and not too hot and not too wet!
- Warm welcoming locals and incredibly friendly villages
- Our local guides and support crew are incredible, and will be like family by the end of your tour

At 161kms in length the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail is the longest rail trail in Australia.
This self guided cycling tour will have you riding the best sections of this fantastic Queensland getaway, whilst taking care of those pesky logistics for you.
There are some stunning bridges, some we cross and some we go under. Being elevated at the northern end there are terrific views. It’s undeniably outback Queensland but we have found a couple of gourmet secrets so we do get to enjoy quality meals.
Cycling the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail is a little bit of an adventure. It’s still on the easy side in terms of difficulty, the distances are achievable for most riders, and we start this tour at the northern end so it’s largely downhill. Although small sections are paved, the majority of the trail is either hard packed gravel or dirt track. So we recommend well-equipped mountain bikes (you can BYO bike or ask about our rental fleet).
It wouldn't be Queensland without some great pubs and iconic outback buildings to visit. It all makes for a wonderful getaway on this Brisbane Valley Rail Trail cycling tour.
Highlights
- Enjoy the downhill cycling from Yarraman on the safe, fun Brisbane Valley Rail Trail
- Experience the charming outback towns of Esk, Yarraman & Fernvale
- Wildlife spotting including koala, emu and echidna
- Revisit the past at the old restored train stations
- Savour the friendly Queensland regional hospitality

Cycling Tour in Tasmania – Launceston to Hobart
Discover the incredible unspoilt beauty of this pristine region on this fully guided gourmet cycling tour in Tasmania. Explore the scenic east coast from Launceston to Hobart with a special stop at Freycinet National Park. Visit wineries, oyster farms, wildlife sanctuaries and stunning Wineglass Bay on this memorable adventure.
Tasmania is rightly regarded as one of world’s most pristine environments. Raw, unspoilt natural beauty and incredible fresh food, wine and culinary experiences. Lonely Planet named Tasmania in the Top 10 Places to Visit in 2015 and the accolades haven’t stopped since. This tour is the ultimate combination of fun, stress free cycling, beautiful scenery and gourmet food and wine experiences.
There are some hills on this itinerary, so we have graded this tour as intermediate to challenging. But, with our support van always nearby, this trip can be as easy or as hard as you want it to be. There are 6 days of cycling. The first day of cycling is on the relatively new North East Tasmania Rail Trail and is graded as easy. It's a great way to start and warm up the legs. The following days the cycling is on roads. Each day is structured so that those keen to ride a bit more can set out from the start, and those wishing to do less, can transfer to a start point and enjoy the cycling from there. The support vehicle is always close by and follows the group throughout. These shortened start points are normally at the top of a main rise so you avoid any serious hills. Having said all that, it is recommended that participants have done some cycling before arrival to maximise enjoyment.
Highlights
- Incredible scenery of the wild east coast of Tasmania
- Food and wine tastings, including fresh shucked oysters and classic Tasmania Pinot Noir
- Cycling the North East Rail Trail and the back roads off the main roads
- Our guides & the small group, fun and social atmosphere on a Tour de Vines tour
